Lithuania to Poland

Lithuania's housing improved and roads improved the closer we got to Kaunas. Our first stop was Kaunas Church. It looks amazing at the end of this tree-lined street. It started out as a Russian Orthodox cathedral in the 1890s. After the fall of the Kaunas Fortress during WW1 the Germans cut down the church bells, took them to Germany and the church was closed.
